Finnish designer Sari Nordlund hated knitting as a child, and so never really learned. As a college student, Sari was embarrassed to admit to not knowing how, “as Finns are expected to know how to knit.” Sari learned in secret from a book printed in the 1940s. Today, Sari’s patterns are admired for the intricacy of their designs.
