Kitty is the creator behind the well-made project bags, stitch markers and more at Candy Skull Crafts. “I’ve faced a lot in my (many!) years,” Kitty says. “I’m now a wheelchair user due to hEDS and POTs, which are disorders of the connective tissue and autonomic nervous system. When I was spending a lot of time in hospital I decided to stop focusing on what I could no longer so & start doing something positive. … I now use my creative side as positive mental therapy.”

Owner Siobhan also runs a farm, and the website is full of photos and stories about the animals and other adventures. Yarn Over Floyd sells gorgeous, turned metal crochet hooks on a pre-order basis.

Felsted Fleece is a product of Brick House Farm in Essex, UK. Neil and Cara run the farm as an environmentally sensitive, sustainable Smallholding, keep rare breed pigs and sheep since 2008. “We chose Gotlands specifically for their fleece,” Neil and Cara say, because it provides excellent locks, top and batts. The farm’s shop also sells felting tools and other supplies.
