Anita is the dyer at Walnut Farms Designs. Anita’s family has farmed the same Pennsylvania land since the 1770s, which today supports Walnut Farms’ herd of Bluefaced Leicesters. This shop sells everything from cool stitch markers (I may have bought several of these) to undyed yarns, dyeing supplies, spinning fiber and drop spindles.

Dan is the gnome/dyer and accessory maker at Gnomespun Fiber Arts. “I am a retired Army veteran, a neuroscientist, biochemist, a crafter (polycraftual), a husband, and … a lot of other things,” Dan says. Dan sells handmade drop spindles and accessories, including some fun “saucy” spindles. Items come in a variety of woods and inlays. Exceptional.
