The late Minnesota knit and crochet designer Annie Modesitt wanted to create a line of hand dyed yarns in the semi-solids and color blends that she found so inspiring. After 30+ years as a knitting designer, author and knitting teacher, Annie had firm ideas about creating colors that would work well in many combinations, allowing anyone to feel like an absolute color maven.
